Thanksgiving 2012

This was, of course, Baby Girl's first Thanksgiving. She was as excited about it as a nine-month-old baby can be.

We celebrated by going to my parents's house, where Baby Girl met a dog.

Then another (blurry) dog.

There were more dogs to meet, but they were in another room so she will have to meet them another time.

Even though she doesn't have any teeth yet, Baby Girl still enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner. Actually almost any traditional holiday dinner in the Midwest would be pretty good for a toothless baby--lots of soft, carby foods.

Yaya has turned into a teenager and always tries to hide from the camera now.

Mr. Man wanted to play the Kindle through dinner and was very upset when we wouldn't let him. I'm not sure he ate much more than a roll.

And for dessert, we had pumpkin pie and candy turkeys (more on those tomorrow).

Baby Girl tried to have a foil potted plant cover for her dessert. But we were mean and put a stop to that.

So how was your Thanksgiving? Anyone have a dog steal the turkey? Use salt instead of sugar in the pie? Get trampled at a Black Friday sale?
