Snow day

Last week we had our first big snow of the season, and of course the boys were dying to go out and play. For a born-and-bred Midwesterner I do not handle cold well at all, so I stayed inside, but B and I bundled Baby Girl up so she could have her first experience with snow.

Yes, those are socks on her hands. She has a snowsuit but of course she had outgrown it, so lots of layers were the next best thing.

And of course B had to put her down by an old bucket. Oh well; she's still cute. She didn't mind the snow until Yaya threw a snowball and hit her in the face. Then she was done.

Mr. Man takes after his mother and wasn't as thrilled by the snow.

Yaya, of course, could have stayed out there forever.

We haven't gotten much snow since this, just a dusting one day. Now we're in the bitter cold, muddy snow and ice everywhere part of winter. Wheee.

  1. ooh fun! my son wants snow so bad and he even wished for it on the thanksgiving wishbone. One day we'll take him to see snow and then he'll change his mind about snow! LOL

  2. We just got some real snow, today. I don't care for it much, either. She looks like she is enjoying it. I'm ready for spring.
